**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Need to have extensive experience in Palo Alto firewalls, experience Cisco firewalls.
- Should identify, troubleshoot and resolve any hardware, software or configuration related incidents observed on any equipment across network.
- Responsible for preparing Method of Procedure for any configuration changes, and follow Change management procedures.
- Should have good Knowledge and working experience on Juniper SRX Cisco, Palo Alto Security Products (Firewall & IPS) is an added advantage.
- Should be skilled in Firewall and VPN troubleshooting.
- Responsible for leading any planned scheduled maintenance activities.
- Should be able to lead any incident calls with OEM technical support and provide any inputs required for restoration.
- Resolve Customer Escalations.
- Act as a key SPOC for L3 Incidents.
- Type of Experience: Global | Build and Manage | Tech Lead / Architect | Strong Customer liaising skills/exp
- Certifications needed: CCNP Security, Palo alto Network security certification

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT domain
- Hand on skills in configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge on working with Juniper SRX/ Palo Alto/ Checkpoint / CIsco / Fortigate Firewall
- Maintain High Availability and Clustered firewall environments for customers using Check Point High Availability. Managing Check Point Smart Console Dashboard.
- Proven Knowledge of IPS Software blades and others.
- IDS/ IPS Threat Monitoring and Tuning on Smart Console.
- Knowledge of network protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, TCP/IP, etc.).
- Should manage corporate Checkpoint Firewall implementing security rules and mitigating network attacks.
- Firewall troubleshooting and maintenance issues. Responsible for resolving the issues from the company and/or vendor documented resolutions.
- Knowledge on Log analysis and correlation of Monthly reports.
- Understanding on creating Signatures and Traps to analyze traffic pattern.
- Should be familiar with Checkpoint models, capabilities, and architectures.
- Supply data on resolvable firewall issues to the vendor Technical Assistance Centres (TAC) and, with assistance from the vendor technicians, advance towards full resolution of the issues and documentation of the process.
- Provide Support for VPN client Infrastructure.
- Policy/ Signature Reinforcement based on the requirement and alert trend,
- Ability to work in 24X7 environment and experience in handling provisioning related issues

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- 8+ years extensive experience / knowledge of R&S, Wireless, Optimization and in load balancing worked in complex environment including various products, aware of SBM and enterprise scenarios.
- Cisco routers, Switches, Riverbeds, F5 Load Balancer,
- Cisco wireless networks
- Experience with DMVPN and MPLS networks
- Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE wireless/routing and switching a plus
- Experience with routing protocols specially EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
