**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design innovative packaging solutions for flexible packaging and folding cartons.
- Collaborate with clients to understand design requirements and preferences.
- Develop concepts, mockups, and final designs meeting client expectations.
- Ensure design consistency across various packaging formats.
- Work closely with Packaging Manager/Project Manager to ensure design feasibility.
- Create dielines, mockups, and 3D visuals for client presentations.
- Prepare artwork for production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Manage prepress processes, ensuring seamless transition to production.
- Stay updated on design trends, packaging materials, and printing technologies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in packaging.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Technical skills:

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Knowledge of packaging design software (e.g., Esko, Artios)
- Familiarity with printing processes:

- Flexography
- Offset printing
- Digital printing
- Rotogravure (gravure) printing
- Prepress expertise:

- Color management (CMYK, Pantone)
- Image editing and retouching
- File formatting (PDF, EPS, TIFF)
- Trapping and imposition
- Excellent creative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Portfolio showcasing packaging design expertise.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, Blender).
- Knowledge of packaging materials, substrates, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and style guides.
- Certification in graphic design or related field.
