Eden Critical Care Hospital, a leading healthcare facility in Chandigarh, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in nursing to gain valuable practical experience in a renowned hospital.
**Responsibilities**:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients based on their individual needs and medical condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate documentation of the same.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in the patient's condition.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Assist in diagnostic tests, examinations, and procedures, and prepare patients for surgeries or other medical interventions.
Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care and support to stabilize patients.
Follow hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards, in delivering nursing care.
**Requirements**:
Diploma or degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid nursing registration and license in Chandigarh.
0-1 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Basic computer skills for accurate record keeping and documentation.
