**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Create, develop, and deliver inpatient training course for facility coding
- Accomplish training readiness and all logistics required to conduct the academy training (coding manuals, training rooms, etc.)
- Prepare learning materials whenever required
- Track assessment scores
- Organize, coordinate, and communicate training programs for the business
- Provide feedback on regular basis
- Partner with leadership to provide coaching during training
- Provide feedback to management on individual and group training results
- Review and update training materials as needed
- Be able to facilitate diverse groups of people
- Other duties may apply

**Required Qualifications**:

- Graduate or Postgraduate in: Life Sciences, Allied Medicine (BHMS, BAMS, BPT, Dental Grads, Pharmacist, Nursing)
- Certified coder - AAPC / AHIMA - CCS/CIC
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in Facility Inpatient coding
- Experience in IP DRG training
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy/ physiology, pathophysiology
- Thorough understanding of interpreting the medications and dosages
- Proven excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to provide proper and detailed feedback on errors and conduct/provide training based on error trends
- Proven ability to participate/conduct/lead calibrations between SMEs, auditors
- Proven ability to independently develop and update training curriculum with all relevant guidelines
