We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled **Electrical Control Panel Designer** with expertise in **AutoCAD (2D)** and **3D CAD software** (e.g., Autodesk Inventor / SolidWorks / EPLAN Pro Panel) to design and develop custom LV/MV electrical control panels, distribution boards, and automation systems. The role requires both electrical and mechanical design knowledge to create functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective panel layouts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design **control panel GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and terminal layouts** in AutoCAD.
- Develop **3D panel layouts**, including enclosure design, mounting arrangements, and cable routing using 3D CAD tools.
- Collaborate with the electrical engineering team to interpret schematics into physical layouts.
- Prepare **Bill of Materials (BOM)** and panel component specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant **IEC/IS standards** (e.g., IEC 61439).
- Optimize panel space for efficient wiring and thermal management.
- Coordinate with production and procurement for design validation and material selection.
- Revise and maintain design documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support testing and troubleshooting during panel manufacturing.
- Maintain CAD libraries of standard parts and symbols.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum **2-5 years** experience in electrical panel design.
- Proficient in **AutoCAD Electrical (2D)** and any **3D design software** like Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or EPLAN Pro Panel.
- Sound knowledge of **LV and MV switchgear**, VFDs, PLCs, MCBs, MCCBs, relays, and control systems.
- Familiar with **cable sizing, panel heat dissipation**, and mechanical constraints in panel layout.
- Experience in **schematic to layout translation** and **BOM generation**.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **EPLAN**:

- Knowledge of **type-tested panels (IEC 61439)**.
- Understanding of **electrical safety standards** and **panel IP ratings**.
- Exposure to **industrial automation** and **control logic** design.
