**About the Job**:
The mission of the Website Designer is to create high-quality, user-centric, and visually compelling website designs that drive engagement, conversions, and brand consistency for Vendasta’s partners and clients. You're responsible for translating business objectives into seamless digital experiences through intuitive UI/UX design, responsive web layouts, and innovative interactive elements. By leveraging industry best practices and conducting usability testing, you ensure that each project delivers an exceptional user experience. Additionally, this role plays a key part in maintaining brand integrity and improving website performance through strategic design enhancements, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the integration of user feedback.

**Your Impact**:
**Website UI/UX & HTML Banner Design Execution**:

- Proven experience with HTML5 banner design and animation tools (e.g., Creatopy, Google Web Designer or Adobe Animate).
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, especially with the Divi/Elementor theme builder.
- Strong familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for content ideation and generation. Strong understanding of prompt engineering.
- Solid understanding of web design principles, UX/UI, and responsive design
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and content teams to deliver projects on time
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility, SEO, and UI UX best practices

**User Experience Optimization & Testing**:

- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Conduct usability testing, gather insights from user behavior, and refine designs based on data-driven feedback.
- Perform A/B testing on design elements to enhance conversion rates and user engagement.
- Optimize website navigation, layout, and interaction flows to improve user satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand experience through design.
- Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance Vendasta’s web design strategies.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement**:

- Work alongside developers, content specialists, SEO specialists, and marketing managers to create seamless website experiences.
- Support the development of design guidelines, documentation, and standard operating procedures to streamline design workflows.
- Contribute to project planning by providing accurate design estimates, timelines, and potential challenges.
- Educate internal teams and clients on design best practices and the importance of user-centered design principles.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve overall digital engagement and marketing effectiveness.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, usability heuristics, and responsive design best practices
- Familiarity with SEO, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and conversion rate optimization through design
- Awareness of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers
- Expertise in Canva, Creatopy, Animate CC, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for designing and prototyping
- Ability to conduct and analyze usability testing, heat maps, and A/B testing data
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to create solutions that align with business objectives
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high design quality under tight deadlines
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills to present design concepts and justify decisions to stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing tasks effectively
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of digital design trends
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and visual editing tools
- Experience working with marketing teams or in a digital agency setting
- A portfolio showcasing banner ads and WordPress websites (especially Divi-based projects)
