**#Key Responsibilities**:
1**. Procurement Planning and Execution**:

- Identify the requirements for machinery, tools, spare parts, raw materials, and consumables specific to **mining operations.**
- Source and procure materials from reliable suppliers at competitive rates.
- Ensure timely purchase to avoid delays in operations.

2**. Supplier Management**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate and assess supplier performance based on delivery timelines, quality, and cost.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure the best value for the company.

3. **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of essential items to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with storekeepers and warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and stock rotation.
- Work closely with the inventory control team to forecast demand for materials.

4. **Cost Optimization and Budgeting**:

- Prepare and manage procurement budgets.
- Analyze cost-effectiveness and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify alternative vendors or products for better pricing without compromising quality.

5. **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with mining industry regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and payment details.

6. **Coordination with Departments**
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to align purchasing with project requirements.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchased goods or services.

7. Market Analysis and Vendor Sourcing:

- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Identify new suppliers and evaluate their suitability for long-term partnerships.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements in mining equipment and materials.
