**About The Team/Project**

We are seeking an experienced Principal Technology Partner to play a pivotal role in driving transformational improvements within our organization’s DevOps and technology practices. This position is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our software development lifecycle, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS). The Principal Consultant will be instrumental in implementing industry-leading DevOps best practices, leading automation initiatives, and fostering a culture of collaboration across development, operations, and quality assurance teams.

As the principal consultant, you will bring a strategic vision to the role, working to optimize our software delivery pipeline, ensure the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure, and deliver top-tier DevOps solutions that meet the needs of both internal teams and external customers. This role requires a seasoned leader who not only possesses deep technical expertise but also has the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams towards a common goal of operational excellence.

**What You’ll Do**
- Thought leadership in all aspects of DevOps tooling. This will involve defining and contributing to the overall global strategy
- Work closely with our engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement, Collaborate closely with the DevOps, Cloud, and Software Engineering teams to identify and implement improvements across the organization.
- DevOps Evangelism, Act as a DevOps evangelist, promoting automation, simplification, and the modernization of legacy processes.
- Leadership & Strategy, Plan, coordinate, and oversee global engineering activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy to improve software & Cloud delivery efficiency and reliability.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. Evaluate existing processes and tools to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

- Technical expert in ways of working with Cloud tooling such as CI/CD technologies, Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/etc..), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Chef/Puppet/Ansible), Source control platforms (GitHub/Endevor/Artifactory etc.)
- Detail-oriented and passionate about software, Cloud & DevOps
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of initiative and sense of urgency
- Challenge the status quo for the greater good of the business
- Very strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
- 10 plus years of experience in Software Engineering and related product development
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of SDLC and STLC
