American English Voice Over Artist

The American English Voice Over Artist is responsible for providing clear, engaging, and professionally recorded voice content in American English for various projects such as commercials, animated characters, e-learning modules, documentaries, corporate narratives, and more. This role requires a high level of vocal skill, versatility, and the ability to convey emotion and information through voice alone. The artist must be capable of adapting their voice to suit the needs of different projects and audiences, maintaining consistent quality across recordings.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- **Script Interpretation**: Interpret scripts, understanding the tone, style, and nuances required by the project. Collaborate with directors and writers to ensure the voice over aligns with the creative vision.
- **Voice Recording**: Provide high-quality voice recordings within set deadlines. This involves setting up and maintaining professional-grade recording equipment, ensuring clear, crisp, and clean audio output.
- **Voice Characterization**: Ability to modulate voice according to character or narrative needs, including but not limited to varying pitch, tone, accent, and pace.
- **Editing and Post-Production**: Basic knowledge of audio editing software to make minor adjustments to recordings, such as timing and breath noise reduction, before submission.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with production teams, directors, and sound engineers to achieve desired outcomes. Provide updates and receive feedback effectively.
- **Project Management**: Manage workload and scheduling to meet project deadlines. Stay organized and communicate availability and any potential delays proactively.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Engage in training and exercises to improve vocal skills, versatility, and performance. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in voice over production.

- **Professional Development**: Continually enhance vocal technique, recording skills, and industry knowledge to stay competitive and meet the evolving needs of clients.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a voice over artist with a portfolio of varied work.
- Exceptional vocal skills with clarity, versatility, and the ability to convey emotion.
- Proficient with audio recording and editing equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpretative skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Training in voice, acting, or related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Must have a quiet, dedicated space for recording.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods during recording sessions.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
