**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning & Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver engaging computer science lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for higher secondary levels.
- Teach advanced topics in computer science, including programming, data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and web development.
- Incorporate a variety of instructional methods and technologies to cater to different learning styles and enhance student understanding.
- **Student Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, including exams, projects, and assignments, to evaluate student performance and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student performance and academic progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain order and ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Address and resolve any classroom issues or conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with developments in computer science and educational technology to ensure the relevance of instructional practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the computer science curriculum and instructional materials.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and school events as required.
- **Technology Integration**:

- Utilize modern technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Promote and integrate the use of educational software, programming environments, and digital resources in the classroom.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching computer science at the higher secondary level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of computer science concepts, programming languages, and educational technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and computer science software.
