We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor to join our team at **URBX Knowledge Park LLP- Pilot & Aviation Academy. **As a Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and mental health services to aspiring pilots enrolled in our academy. You will work closely with students to address academic, personal, and emotional challenges, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment contributing to their success.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
1. Provide confidential counselling services to students on a one-on-one basis, addressing academic, personal, and emotional concerns.

2. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

3. Develop personalized counselling plans and strategies to help students overcome obstacles, set goals, and achieve academic success.

4. Offer guidance and support to students facing stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues, referring them to appropriate resources and professionals when necessary.

5. Facilitate group counselling sessions, workshops, and seminars on topics such as stress management, study skills, time management, and career planning.

6. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to implement proactive interventions and support programs for students at risk.

7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

8. Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in counselling, psychology, and student development.

9. Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance counselling skills and knowledge.

10. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote student well-being and academic success.

**Education**:

- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in counseling, mental health therapy, or student support services, preferably in an educational or academic setting.
- Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and interventions applicable to diverse student populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport, empathy, and trust with students from various cultural, social, and academic backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an academic set up.

Professional Training:
Licensed or certified counselor with relevant credentials from a recognized professional association (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW).

**Skills**:

- Expert use of (type of activity) Software - (e.g., Teammate)
- Expert use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Effective English oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent report writing skills and ability
- Strong Accounting or financial expertise

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate student schedules and events.
