**JD FOR QA INTERN**

**About App-Knit**:
**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **QA Intern** who is passionate about **software testing and quality assurance**. This internship offers hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing and serves as a potential pathway to a full-time position based on performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and documentation.
- Validate user expectations through thorough testing procedures.
- Log, report, and track bugs using JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
- Assist in automation testing using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Prepare test scenarios, QA summary reports, and test data documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of test planning and execution.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with manual and automation testing tools and scripting.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
