Summary:
Key contributor responsible for statistical programming of deliverables for assigned studies or project-level activities under guidance of a Trial Programmer.

Major Accountabilities:

- Create primary program to generate deliverables in accordance with TFL shells, programming instructions and programming dataset specifications
- Validate deliverables
- Ensure quality, timely and efficient completion of deliverables
- Seek solutions to programming issues and escalate as needed
- Establish and maintain working relationships with team members of assigned studies or project-level activities. Effectively communicate the status of deliverables and any risks to Trial Programmer and supervisor

Key Performance Indicators:

- Quality and timeliness of all assigned deliverables
- Compliance with internal and external standards as measured by audit findings
- Works effectively under general supervision of supervisor or Trial Programmer

Impact in the Organization:

- Timely and high quality SP deliverables. Delays and errors in deliverables may impede submissions or other product developments and subsequent revenue loss to the company
- Ensuring external quality reputation of Alcon with Health Authorities

Competency Profile:

- Good SAS programming skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work well with others globally

**Language**:
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

**Education**:
BA/BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, health sciences or related field

Preferred Requirements

Programming experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
