Medical Microbiology Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct microbiological tests on clinical specimens, including blood, urine, and swabs, to identify bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
- Perform culture, isolation, and identification of microorganisms using aseptic techniques and specialized laboratory equipment.
- Perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing to determine the most effective antibiotics for treatment.
- Prepare and analyze specimens using staining, microscopy, and biochemical assays.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, including documentation in laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in handling infectious agents and biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide timely and accurate information for patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Microbiology
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Preferably holds MOH Oman license
- Prometric/Pearson Vue Passed
- Dataflow completed

Job Location : Salalah, Oman

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
