**Job Purpose**:
To manage the commercial and contractual aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) packages for industrial construction projects. The MEP QS will support project delivery by ensuring value for money is achieved and risks are minimized.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Cost Management & Estimation**
- Prepare and manage MEP cost estimates and budgets at all project stages.
- Analyze and validate subcontractor/supplier quotations.
- Provide input into MEP elements of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for industrial facilities (e.g., factories, warehouses, plants).

**2. Procurement**
- Develop procurement strategies for MEP works.
- Prepare tender documentation and manage tender processes.
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of bids and recommend awards.

**3. Contract Administration**
- Administer MEP subcontracts and supplier agreements in compliance with contractual terms.
- Monitor compliance and manage variations, change orders, and claims.

**4. Cost Control & Reporting**
- Track project costs against budget and forecast expenditures.
- Produce regular cost reports and cash flow projections for MEP elements.
- Provide financial analysis for value engineering and cost optimization.

**5. Risk & Value Management**
- Identify commercial risks related to MEP works and propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate in value engineering exercises and lifecycle cost assessments.

**6. Project Collaboration**
- Work closely with MEP engineers, site teams, planners, and design consultants.
- Attend project and site meetings to stay updated on progress and issues affecting cost or scope.
- Support coordination between MEP works and other construction disciplines.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP QS roles within the industrial construction sector.
- Strong understanding of industrial MEP systems (HVAC, fire protection, electrical distribution, process piping, etc.).
- Familiarity with contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
- Proficient in MS Excel, cost management software (e.g., CostX, Candy), and AutoCAD or BIM tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

**Desirable**:

- MRICS or working towards RICS chartership.
- Experience in large-scale industrial projects such as data centers, manufacturing plants, or logistics hubs.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
