**. Qualifications & Experience**
- **Master’s degree in English from a recognized university.**:

- **B.Ed. COMPULSORY**:

- **Minimum 3-5years’ experience teaching English at the senior secondary level.**

**Job Purpose**

To plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature to senior secondary students, fostering critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a lifelong appreciation of the language and its literary heritage.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Curriculum Planning & Delivery**:

- Develop detailed lesson plans in line with the school’s curriculum (CBSE/ISC/State Board).
- Use a variety of teaching methods—lectures, discussions, multimedia, and group activities—to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, essays, and projects.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and enforce classroom rules conducive to a productive learning environment.
- Address behavioral issues promptly and in accordance with school policy.
- **Literary Engagement**:

- Introduce students to a wide range of literary genres: poetry, drama, prose, and non-fiction.
- Guide literary analysis and foster critical discussions on themes, context, and authorial intent.
- **Language Skills Development**:

- Conduct focused activities to enhance grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing proficiency.
- Organize speech & debate sessions, creative writing workshops, and reading circles.
- **Professional Development & Collaboration**:

- Attend department meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school events (e.g., literary festivals, English Week).
- Mentor junior teachers and student interns, as needed.
- **Parental & Community Engagement**:

- Communicate student progress and areas for improvement to parents through parent-teacher meetings and written reports.
- Encourage participation in inter-school competitions, quizzes, and community outreach programs.

**Skills & Competencies**
- **Subject Expertise**: Strong command over English language and a deep appreciation of literature.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Pedagogical Skills**: Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology (e.g., smart boards, online platforms).
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to motivate and connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- **Organizational Abilities**: Strong planning, time management, and record-keeping skills.
- **Adaptability**: Flexibility to adjust teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
