**Job Title**: GM Supply Chain

**Location**: Nagpur

**About the client**: A well known Food and Beverage company with presence internationally.

**Job Purpose**:

- This position will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to Planning Logistics and Material Management for the Business.
- The role will be required to work with a wide network of cross functional stakeholders to drive the Strategic Business Agenda.
- As a leader, the role would involve team management, and channelling the team towards a more agile and reliable supply chain. Also should be able to coach and groom his team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Accountability:_
- Ensure the operations cost - Logistics (across plants, sales, retail, export and import) is complied to the defined budget.
- Ensure that there is no penalty due to delay in the payment by the company to any supplier. Drive the improvement initiatives across critical functions.
- Operations Accountability:_
- Ensure that the delivery of the required materials is reached on time (Plant to Distributor/Retailer).
- Ensure the materials required for each plant, retail outlets are reached on time.
- Ensure the target for plan vs actual across all the plants are within the limit intended
- Ensure any customer complaints related to transport and logistics are addressed in timely manner
- Ensure all the losses are captured and reported against the missed orders across all products.
- Support the Top management in defining the performance, incentives and promotions decision.
- Ensure the reports, documents and other legal/compliance requiems are submitted, approved and released on time to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize the transportation cost.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Master’s in SCM or Operations from an accredited University
- Preferable Six sigma green belt/ black belt certified.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and analytical skills
- Driven Lean Manufacturing / Process Improvement projects.

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum 15 years of work experience. Extensive experience in managing the supply chain related activities for FMCG companies.
- Proven process improvement, business engineering experience.
- Proven leadership skills and business acumen - performance driven.
- Proven experience in process improvement, leading projects with a record of successful implementation.
- Previous exposure to a high volume low value SKU environment.
- Exposure to food and food processing and FMCG industry.
- Ability to work with and influence others in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills.
- Excellent in analysis &reporting tools and techniques.
- Prior experience in preparing & extensive usage of forecasting tools, Annual business plan & budgets.
