**Your Responsibilities**
- Develop projects from conceptualization through design into execution and delivery.
- Layout various forms of collateral, digital and print ads, presentations, and assist other designers in producing project deliverables.
- Produce a wide variety of creative that range from print and production to digital, web and multimedia, to required specifications, with high fidelity.
- Use design experience and creative eye to search for and curate good, quality stock photography—adhering to brand and style guidelines.
- Provide image retouching, and any additional image manipulation to ensure quality and effectiveness of creative assets.
- Build compelling presentations using PowerPoint and Google slides with ability to create consistent design systems for presentation continuity.
- Ability to export various formats of supplied artwork into a production-ready delivery package and resolve any artwork issues that arise during the process.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, copywriters, designers, and developers.
- Continuously self-educate on the competitive landscape and current design trends to help in maintaining relevance in advertising and design.
- Help innovate and elevate Zephyr’s design, visual systems, and event graphics.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually.
- Produce comps, concept executions and presentations for the work.
- Clearly articulate and present work to the Creative Director and a wide range of stakeholders.
- Have a deep understanding of Zscaler’s business strategies and goals.
- Have a command of Zscaler’s brand vision, systems, and documentation.
- Work closely with other Zephyr team members and the production team to establish priority, fidelity and timely delivery of tasks.
- Ensure quality control and outcomes through technical and critical thinking.
- Be a design advisor to our clients and your peers - we don’t just take orders, we recommend the best possible approach and collaborate and iterate for effectiveness.
- ** Required Technical and Professional Expertise**:

- 5+ years of experience in creative agency, studio or in-house.
- A BFA, BS, or MFA in Graphic Design or equivalent field is required.
- A strong portfolio of design, showcasing an excellent sense of concept development, typography, layout, web and digital design principles (Required to apply).
- Proven experience creating and maintaining production ready design files with focus on: layout design, typesetting, photography selection and editing, print production, and quality assurance control.
- High proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Proficiency with business software (MS Office, Google Slides).
- Experience building PowerPoint presentations, slide layout design, including typography, diagram and iconography creation, as well as slide animation.
- A professional knowledge of web and social media standards and limitations.
- A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design and technology and can investigate, innovate, and develop design, print and digital trends.
- A self-starter attitude with an excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment.
- Ability to make persuasive arguments to influence design decisions with internal and external partners.
- Actively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction.
- Take direction well and be nimble to extend designs across platforms.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- A design eye to distinguish good design from bad, careless from well-conceived and crafted.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team.
- Ability to collaborate with others-stakeholders, technical teams, partners and other designers.
- Attention-to-detail, strong organizational skills and time management.
