Cloud Solution Architect

The Global Partner solutions team leads and orchestrates pre-sales capabilities to enable the ‘consultative front end’ of the broader Industry Solutions organization. Our core goals are to discover relevant and transformative digital solutions to increase business value for our partners and their customers while also meeting internal business goals - to increase Microsoft cloud consumption and innovate with Microsoft products and services through industry-specific lenses.Inside of GPS, the Digital Strategy & Enablement team sets strategy and manages overall operational effectiveness while also developing methodologies, solutions, offerings, and tools to enable the success of this organization. You will provide deep technical coaching aiding partners to develop impactful solutions and services for our customers. Leveraging your experience you will validate partners’ technology architecture, assist them to overcome technical blockers, and aid them to win early customers, and realize consumption and usage results from their solutions and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills
- Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including; Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons
- Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing
- Solution Development: Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
- Evangelism: Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions
- Tech Sales: Enable partners on technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial partners’ wins and work to unblock technical issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of building deep technical sales relationships with CXOs and practice building executives in ISV, MSP, CD and Sis.
- Ability to solve Partner problems and unblock technical issues, leveraging internal and/or external resources.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solution Area products and services, and knowledge of market business environment

- Conditional Access (Entra ID P1 and P2)
- Identity Protection (Entra ID P1 and P2)
- Identity Protection (Microsoft Defender for Identity)
- Entra ID as an IDP and as SP (Entra ID P1 and P2)
- MDM and MAM (Microsoft Intune Plan 1)
- Information Protection (Azure Information Protection P1 and P2)
- Cloud Access Security Broker (Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps)
- EDR (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint P1 and P2)
