- The Indirect Sourcing department serves a pivotal role, leading strategic sourcing engagements across a wide range of business units. It also enables a cost efficient and value adding approach to the procurement, contracting of products & services in Novozymes. Indirect Sourcing - A global organization responsible to source and contract indirect products and services for Novozymes. We are a team of sourcing colleagues located in Novozymes' key production sites in all regions of the world including Europe, Asia Pacific, North Americas and South Americas.

- Strategic Sourcing
- Driving the procurement projects by aligning the regional goals with Global Sourcing Strategy
- Market Benchmarking - Analyze Category spend for Business Services and products. Highly experienced in managing sourcing and/or understanding the market dynamics with the industry.
- Call for RFx (Request for Info, Request for Bid, Request for Proposal) & Tender Management - Understand technical product specifications, licenses and make assessments to secure relevant demands are covered. if you feel the demands are overengineered, challenge.
- Negotiate basic terms on price, volume, lead-time, payment terms on non-strategic suppliers, executing basic negotiation tactics
- Supplier-Spend Management - Analyze spend and supplier base for Business Services and products to drive savings through sourcing engagements with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership.
- Execute an efficient Procure-to-Pay process and communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, expedite deliveries, resolve invoice discrepancies, forwarding information, assuring suppliers comply with purchase order (P.O.) terms and meeting with suppliers to resolve service and/or delivery issues.
- Handle supplier complaints in close collaboration with relevant Category manager
- On assigned projects, develop alternate domestic and/or foreign suppliers in collaboration with stakeholders in Line of Business and global category managers
- Stakeholder Management
- Be a sourcing partner for key business stakeholders by building a strong relationship at an expert level (with deep industry knowledge)
- Communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders across Line of Business
- Strong collaboration with & performance follow-up with suppliers

- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and the contracts award process.

- Contract Management - Negotiate contracts with high technical complexity and other contractual elements by collaborating with Global category managers, to secure both short
- and longer-term results. Secure signed contracts based on standard contractual terms to enable line of business to operate optimally and efficiently.
