**Job Description: PCB Designer**
- **Schematic Capture**:

- Create and review electrical schematics.
- Translate design requirements into functional schematics.
- **PCB Layout**:

- Design and layout PCBs using CAD tools like Altium, Eagle, or KiCad.
- Optimize component placement, routing, and layer stackup.
- **Component Selection**:

- Collaborate to choose appropriate components.
- Consider availability, cost, and suitability.
- **Design Verification**:

- Perform design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC).
- Validate and verify PCB functionality.
- **Documentation**:

- Generate design documentation, including PCB fabrication files and BOMs.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work with cross-functional teams and PCB manufacturers.
- **Stay Updated**:

- Keep informed on industry trends and PCB design advancements.

**Preferred Skills**:

- High-speed digital design and RF PCB layout experience.
- EMI/EMC considerations knowledge.
- Familiarity with IPC standards.
- Ability to perform signal integrity analysis.
