**Responsibilities**:
Assist in the setup and preparation of dialysis equipment and supplies prior to patient treatment sessions. Learn and adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety procedures to ensure a sterile and safe dialysis environment. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, before, during, and after dialysis treatment. Assist in the assessment of patients' health status and dialysis adequacy, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to supervising healthcare professionals. Learn and follow established protocols for initiating, monitoring, and discontinuing dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders. Provide physical and emotional support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, addressing their comfort, concerns, and questions throughout the procedure. Learn to recognize and respond to emergencies and adverse reactions during dialysis treatment, following established protocols for intervention and escalation. Assist in the cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of dialysis equipment and treatment areas following each patient session. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatment records, including vital signs, dialysis parameters, and any interventions or observations. Participate in ongoing training and education programs to expand knowledge of dialysis principles, techniques, and best practices.
