**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to establish safety protocols and guidelines for equipment handling, chemical storage, and emergency response.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Keep up-to-date with local, regional, and national safety regulations and standards, and ensure company compliance.
- Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Lead emergency response drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for various scenarios.
- Participate in safety committee meetings, providing insights and expertise on safety-related matters.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in safety technology.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
