Lab Chemist

**Job Title: Lab Chemist (Ethanol Plant)**

Location: Gola, Jharkhand

**Salary**: Up to ₹3 LPA

Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role

Industry Exposure: Ethanol manufacturing experience is mandatory

Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry)

**Job Purpose**:
The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, supporting quality

control processes, and maintaining accurate laboratory records to ensure smooth production

operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and advanced chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples,

and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures

(SOPs).
- Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for production and quality

assurance teams.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting production or quality issues based on lab findings.
- Collaborate with team members and support senior lab staff in continuous improvement

initiatives.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the ethanol or chemical

industry.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and laboratory documentation practices.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of lab safety and chemical handling procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
