TraceLink is seeking an intern that will assist with running our Security Assurance program. Our ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) provides the foundation, with additional elements added to support our SOC 2 attestation. We’re seeking an individual with an interest in security and risk management frameworks, governance, compliance, and auditing.

**Responsibilities**:
Expected activities the individual will contribute to include:

- Assist Assurance team with tasks associated with audits, risk & vendor management, including follow up on open action plans
- Review external standards related to Information Security, comparison and gap analysis to internal security policies and requirements
- Support management of ongoing projects
- Prepare documentation for security procedures and knowledge base
- Develop and compile metrics and reports

**Qualifications**:

- Requirements:_
- Understanding security fundamentals, common security best practises, frameworks/ standards
- Strong written and communication skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment, and foster collaboration
- Proficient in both data analysis and with a variety of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage several priorities at one time
- Project management and presentation skills
- Exhibiting strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Pick up new skills through self-learning and on the job training
- Adapt to changing or competing priorities
- Desired skills:_
- Any security certification or prior security training experience (e.g., ISO 27001)
