**Your new role - challenging and future-**oriented.**
- DevOps Architect, your primary responsibility is to architect, design, implement, and manage the infrastructure and processes required to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and efficient software development operations.
- DevOps Strategy and Planning: Define and implement the overall DevOps strategy, including selecting appropriate tools, technologies, and processes for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Infrastructure Design and Automation: Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of resources using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

**CI/CD Pipeline Implementation**:

- Design, build, and maintain robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Integrate various tools and technologies such as version control systems, build servers, artifact repositories, and deployment orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline) to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, vulnerability scanning, access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on DevOps practices, tools, and technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps and cloud computing space. Continuously evaluate and improve existing DevOps processes, tools, and infrastructure to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

**DevOps Skills and Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and their best practices.
- Cloud Computing and Infrastructure:

- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/AZURE/GCP) in architecting and designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of different cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their appropriate use cases.
- Profound experience with cloud-native services and technologies, such as AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, or Azure Functions etc.
- Automation and Tooling:

- Hands-on project experience in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Datadog.

**Security and Compliance**:

- Experience implementing security controls, access management, and encryption mechanisms.

- B.E. / B. Tech / MCA/ M. Tech (Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical) or a related field.
- 10-12 years of IT experience with min of 3+ years’ experience DevOps-related role, such as a DevOps Architect, DevOps Lead Engineer, or Lead Site Reliability Engineer, is highly desirable.
- Significant professional experience in software development, IT operations, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures, preferably on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps and deployment technologies such as Docker (and/or Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience in AWS terraform scripts for Infrastructure as code automation.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong project experience in at least one of the programming languages: Java, and Python.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Project experience in at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, Windows.
