Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with front office traders, risk managers, and other business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Murex trading systems and reporting solutions.
Murex Reporting & Datamart Development: Leverage your expertise in Murex Datamart and reporting solutions to design and implement custom reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of actionable insights to business stakeholders.
System Configuration & Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to configure and customize Murex systems to meet business needs, ensuring smooth integration of upstream/downstream processes and data accuracy across systems.
Murex Trade Life Cycle Expertise: Provide deep expertise in the Murex trade life cycle, ensuring effective reporting and integration across various modules, from trade capture to settlement.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead and manage UAT for system changes, ensuring that newly implemented functionalities meet business requirements and are rigorously tested before release.
Issue Resolution & Support: Act as the key liaison between front office users and technical teams to address and resolve issues with Murex, ensuring mínimal disruption to trading operations.
Scripting & Automation: Develop custom shell scripts to automate reporting functionality and perform tasks like scheduling EOD scripts through schedulers such as Control-M, Autosys, etc.
CI/CD & Murex DevOps: Participate in CI/CD processes and Murex DevOps activities, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Git, and IntelliJ to streamline development and deployment cycles.
Training & Documentation: Provide training and documentation to end-users on new Murex features and functionality, ensuring effective use and understanding of the platform.
Project Management & Coordination: Own and manage front office projects, ensuring successful project delivery by adhering to timelines and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Reporting & Analytics: Analyze trading data, create custom reports, and provide insights to inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, traders, and IT teams to ensure reporting solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.
