Job Description: Footwear Quality Inspector

**Position**: Footwear Quality Inspector
**Department**: Quality Assurance
**Location**: Bahadurgarh, Delhi
**Reports To**: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
The Footwear Quality Checker is responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of footwear products at various stages of production. This role involves conducting detailed checks on materials, workmanship, and final products to ensure they meet the company's standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform various tests to check the durability, functionality, and safety of footwear.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to measure product dimensions and specifications.
- **Quality Standards Enforcement**:

- Ensure all products comply with company quality standards and industry regulations.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformities in materials and products.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify quality issues promptly.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality audits.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality findings and trends.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest improvements to processes, materials, and techniques to enhance product quality.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in quality control.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree or certification in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards and testing methods.
- **Skills**:

- Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.

Work Environment:

- Primarily works in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- May require occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.
