SUMMARY OF ROLE

Support in understanding client requirements for inspection and testing, implementation of Emerson quality requirements and resolving quality issues related to material.

Factor I: Accountability

**Understand supplier procedures, inspection & test plan, internation codes and standards, client quality requirements, drawings (GAD, P&ID etc.) and datasheets.**

**Perform material receiving inspection of raw material, piping bulk components (pipe, fittings, flanges, valvesetc.), fabricated components like piping, structures and pressure vessel, instruments, control panel etc.**

**Review mill certificates, test reports, calibration certificates, type approval certificates etc for material.**

**Perform dimension checks, weld fitup/visual, hydro test, PMI checks etc for fabricated structure and skids.**

**Issue inspection reports, test reports, inspection release note and clearance in system.**

**Develop work instructions, checklists and templates, demonstrate the implementation in Audits.**

**Report observations / punch point / violation / non-compliance / improvement opportunities, support ininvestigation of root cause, corrective action and effective closure of same.**

**Factor II: Knowledge and Skills**

**Minimum Qualification - Diploma or ITI in instrumentation, electrical or related discipline.Other graduate with relevant core quality experience can be considered.**

**1 to 5 years of experience in quality control.**

**Experienced in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Major Fabrication, EPC/3rd party inspection agency.**

**Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and quality culture**

**Conversant with MS office, word and PowerPoint & data analysis etc.**

**Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, Calibration, Welding, Painting, NDE and PMI.**

**Factor III: Supervision**

**Supervise overall material receiving and inspection activities**

**Publish weekly status report in MS Excel (dashboard) to stakeholders.**

**Other Remarks**:
**Able to travel at short notice periods.**

**Able to communicate effectively with peers, management, suppliers/fabricators and client.**

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
