- **Scheduling**: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and business trips
- **Managing files**: Organizing files, storing and tracking documents, and keeping an inventory of office supplies
- **Welcoming visitors**: Greeting visitors and helping them feel welcome
- **Supporting projects**: Providing general support for ongoing projects, such as preparing reports and note-taking in meetings
- **Assisting new employees**: Helping new employees get settled and with any office equipment issues
- **Performing clerical tasks**: Sorting and sending mail, data entry, copying, faxing, and mailing correspondence
- **Maintaining office supplies**: Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering.
