**Job Resposnibilities**

**a. Business Generation of co-creating service through data utilisationservice (70%)**
- Customer visit along with sales team to determine proposal feasibility by checking RFQs (request for quote).
- Analyse and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying bottlenecks if any, in the planned process flow and propose rectification measures.
- Define goals and parameters for data capturing for key measures
- Perform Proof of Concept studies for both Automation and IoT implementation with Engineering team and Partners.
- Conduct Time and Motion study to implement systems to reduce the overall cycle time.
- Propose new machineries and systems in implementing the “Right Technology in the Right Place”
- Perform process optimization by proposing and utilizing simulation tools like Arena, Witness etc.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing concepts, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to improve poor performing processes.
- Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, cycle time analysis and line balancing.
- Serve as a consultant for the design layout of next generation smart manufacturing factories.
- Co-create innovative engineering solutions to overcome customers’ constraints as part of Industrial Solutions and Services Division.
- Keep track on all digital transformation/Industry 4.0 projects across India and project Management.
- Explain Omron’s data utilization service to customer and understand customer problem to provide solution to their main issues.

**b. Data utilization service Promotion (30%)**
- Regularly discuss with global team for latest development on data utilization service across globe and update Indian team
- Explain the data utilization service in seminars, Tech shows and customer sites

**Job Requirements**
- B.E / M.E degree in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
- Min. 5 - 6 years of experience as Industrial Engineer in Digital, Automotive or FMCG industries.
- Experienced in data driven value creation in manufacturing.
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, Six Sigma, etc)
- Knowledge in common DB deployment and Management: Both on-prime and cloud.
- Experienced in operations research and optimization tools
- Experience in OT to IT integration, focusing on OT part with fluency in IT systems and infra.

6.Exposure to Quality Management system (ex. ISO, QFD)
- Experienced in MTBF, MTTF, FMEA, Ergonomics
- CAD knowledge
- Environment, such as an office or outdoors.
- Exposures encountered, such as hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold.
- Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
- Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds; medium - up to 50 pounds; heavy - over 50 pounds.
- Indicate if required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
- Travel required in Pan India as per business purpose. (40%)
- Required to be 80% of the time at customer site and 20% at vendor site
