**Job Summary**:
The School Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities. The driver must ensure adherence to traffic laws, maintain the cleanliness and operational safety of the bus, and promote a safe, respectful environment for students onboard.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transport students safely to and from school, following the assigned route and time schedule.
- Adhere to traffic and safety rules, maintaining discipline on the bus at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
- Assist young or differently-abled students in boarding and exiting the bus, if needed.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, maintenance, and route logs.
- Follow emergency procedures in the event of accidents, road hazards, or breakdowns.
- Communicate effectively with school authorities, parents, and transport supervisors.
- Remain courteous and calm under pressure or during difficult situations.
- Attend safety and training sessions as required by the school.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (Heavy Vehicle License) with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles; prior school bus driving preferred.
- Clean driving record and background verification.
- Familiarity with traffic laws, school zones, and emergency protocols.
- Physically fit and able to assist students when required.
- Patience, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English, Kannada, or [Insert Local Language].

**Work Conditions**:

- Early morning and afternoon shifts; possible extra hours during school events.
- Operation in all weather conditions.
- Interaction with children of various age groups daily.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
