**Role Overview**:
The Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering accurate broadcast schedules across multiple channels and platforms. This includes linear TV channels and FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) channels, ensuring that all schedules are delivered on time and meet editorial, operational, and compliance requirements.

You’ll work closely with programming, operations, and media planning teams to ensure all live events, repeats, and promos are correctly scheduled and aligned with business priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and manage daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for assigned channels.
- Ensure delivery of accurate playlists and EPG (Electronic Program Guide) data within required timelines.
- Schedule live events, filler content, and promotional elements according to editorial priorities.
- Coordinate with multiple departments (e.g., Programming, AdOps, Playout, Metadata, and OTT) to ensure smooth broadcast execution.
- Monitor and adjust schedules for last-minute changes, overruns, or live event delays.
- Conduct 6-week forward checks to identify missing or incorrect content.
- Handle updates for both FAST and Linear channels, including regional variations.
- Work with international teams (UK, Spain, Italy, etc.) to coordinate global scheduling standards.
- Ensure 14 days of advance planning and presentation.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- Knowledge of broadcast technology including playout, video and audio encoding
- Experience working in a Broadcast TX/MCR would be beneficial
- Motivation, commitment, enthusiasm and drive.
- Experience in a broadcast environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, prioritising workload where required.
- Good understanding of the sporting landscape, and willingness to keep up with the latest news and thirst to learn more about sports you may not be as familiar with.
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.
- Interest in content production for multi-platform distribution.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and individually.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities.
- Experience of working 24/7 shift patterns.
