Position: Bell Labs Radio Systems Intern - Semantic Communication
- Number of Position(s): 1
- Duration: 4 months
- Location: Onsite (Bengaluru, India)

Breakthroughs in theory, system, algorithm, and tools are critically important for the success of wireless communications. In Bell Labs Radio Systems Research, we are devoted to establishing fundamentals and proposing game-changing, high-impact technology solutions and disruptive radio connectivity concepts. We have been working on various challenges in communication systems, especially new algorithms, concepts and systems.

We are seeking highly self-motivated talents with strong machine learning/communication/wireless background to work on semantic communication for 6G and beyond.

**Education Recommendations**:
**As part of our team, you will**:

- Identify the state-of-the-art of the proposed project
- Implement proposed solutions and evaluate performance, compare against legacy benchmarks, and provide conclusions and recommendations
- Document all the technical details, make internal presentations
- Write internal technical report for potential conference/journal publications

**You have**:

- Strong self-motivation with good troubleshooting skills
- Excellent background in wireless communication, signal processing, and machine learning
- Good track record in scientific publication.

**It would be nice if you also had**:

- Good hands-on experience on machine learning projects
- Knowledge/experience related to semantic communication

Research experience in the general area of wireless communication
