**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the school's English curriculum and educational standards.
- **Classroom Instruction**: Deliver high-quality instruction in English language skills, literature, grammar, and writing, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies to engage students.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- **Differentiation**: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with varying abilities, interests, and language proficiency levels.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning, where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to succeed.
- **Parent Communication**: Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns or achievements.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues within the English department and across other disciplines to develop interdisciplinary units, share best practices, and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**: Participate in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, drama productions, or language competitions, to enrich the school community and foster students' interests in English language and literature.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay current with educational trends and research in English language arts, and fulfill continuing education requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) certification or equivalent qualification in English education
- Minimum of [insert years] years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary school level, preferably in an English medium school
- In-depth knowledge of English language and literature, including grammar, composition, literary analysis, and critical thinking skills
