**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **Arc Welding (SMAW)** on mild steel materials for fabrication and repair work.
- Set up welding machines, electrodes, and tools according to job requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Ensure proper welding procedures to achieve **strong, durable, and precise welds**.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy and defects, performing necessary rework when required.
- Operate grinding, cutting, and finishing tools for smooth and quality weld surfaces.
- Follow safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and fabricators to meet project deadlines.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as an **Arc Welder (MS Welding)**.
- Strong understanding of **Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)** processes.
- Ability to weld in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
- Familiarity with mild steel properties and pre/post-welding treatments.
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and work instructions.
- Ability to handle welding tools, grinding machines, and cutting torches.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to work in demanding environments.

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification in **Arc Welding (SMAW) and Mild Steel Welding** is preferred.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in **arc welding and mild steel fabrication**.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of **welding safety standards and workplace hazard prevention**.
- Experience in **structural welding, pipe welding, or fabrication projects**.
- Ability to work with **other welding techniques like MIG or TIG (optional)**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
