- Oversee the testing of APIs, ensuring they meet predefined quality specifications.
- Conduct or coordinate analytical testing and stability studies.
- Review raw material and finished product specifications and test results.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ICH (International Council for Harmonisation), FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Experience with validation of equipment, systems, and processes.
- Prepare, review, and approve documentation related to the production and testing of APIs.
- Manage deviations, investigations, and corrective actions to address non-conformities.
- Conduct or assist in internal audits of production facilities, processes, and systems.
- Prepare for and support external inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Participate in risk assessments and mitigation plans for API processes.
- Train staff on QA protocols, GMP guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in QA practices and API manufacturing technologies.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and risk management tools (e.g., FMEA, CAPA).
