We are a growing [industry-IT] SOC (Security Operations Center) dedicated to providing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for our clients. As we continue to expand our market presence, we are looking for a driven and motivated SOC Intern with a strong interest in IT Sales and Business Development to join our team. This role will provide hands-on experience in sales processes, client engagement, and strategic growth within the IT security industry.

**Job Summary**:
The SOC Intern - IT Sales & Business Development will focus on building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs, and promoting our SOC solutions. You will work closely with our sales and security teams to drive sales initiatives, support client acquisition efforts, and identify business growth opportunities. This internship offers valuable experience in the cybersecurity industry, sales, and business development.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Generation**: Identify new leads and business opportunities by researching potential clients, markets, and trends within the IT and cybersecurity sectors.
- **Sales Support**: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports, tailored to client needs and SOC services.
- **Market Research**: Perform research on competitor offerings, market trends, and potential client needs to support strategic sales decisions.
- **Client Relationship Building**: Help manage and foster relationships with existing and prospective clients, supporting account management and post-sales activities as needed.
- **CRM Management**: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client information, and progress in our CRM system.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the SOC team and security experts to understand service offerings, ensuring accurate communication of services to potential clients.
- **Performance Tracking**: Track and report on sales metrics, including client engagement, sales targets, and pipeline activity.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to work in sales and client-facing roles.
- Basic understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
