Foundry Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Melting & Casting Operations**:

- Supervise daily aluminium melting, alloying, and billet casting operations.
- Monitor and control furnace temperature, alloy composition, and casting parameters.
- Ensure optimal furnace utilization and timely supply of billets for extrusion.
- **Raw Material & Scrap Management**:

- Inspect and manage aluminium scrap and ingot inventory.
- Ensure proper segregation, weighing, and charging of raw materials.
- Optimize scrap usage without compromising quality.
- **Process Control & Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures for molten metal and billets.
- Conduct regular analysis of alloy composition and mechanical properties.
- Liaise with the quality department to resolve any metallurgical issues.
- **Maintenance & Safety**:

- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of furnaces and casting equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Train and supervise foundry workers in safe and efficient work practices.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain records of melting batches, scrap utilization, energy consumption, and billet output.
- Provide regular reports on production performance, material consumption, and yield.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead and guide a team of furnace operators, helpers, and support staff.
- Conduct skill training and performance evaluations.

Pay: ₹10,041.44 - ₹19,653.09 per month
