Plumber/pipefitter

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced **Plumber** to install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems at the construction site. The Plumber will be responsible for executing plumbing work in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards to ensure proper functionality of water, sanitary, and piping systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation & Maintenance**:

- Install, maintain, and repair **water supply, sanitary, and drainage systems** including pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, tanks, and fixtures.
- Execute **plumbing works as per approved drawings, layouts, and instructions**.
- Ensure proper alignment, slope, and support of pipes before concealing or concreting.
- Carry out **pressure testing and leak detection** of installed pipelines.
- Install and repair **fixtures** such as wash basins, toilets, faucets, showers, and water heaters.

**Site Coordination & Documentation**:

- Coordinate with **civil, electrical, and HVAC teams** to avoid service clashes and ensure smooth execution.
- Read and interpret **plumbing layouts, schematic drawings, and as-built plans**.
- Report daily progress, material requirements, and any issues to the supervisor or site engineer.

**Quality & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all **safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard plumbing practices**.
- Ensure all work meets **quality standards and local plumbing codes**.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workplace.

**Material & Tools Handling**:

- Handle and maintain plumbing tools, machines (threading, cutting, welding, etc.), and materials properly.
- Requisition required plumbing materials from the store and ensure their proper usage.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI / Diploma in Plumbing / Civil or equivalent trade qualification.
- **Experience**: 3-7 years of experience in **construction or maintenance plumbing works**.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of **water supply, sanitary, drainage, and rainwater systems**.
- Ability to **read and interpret plumbing drawings and schematics**.
- Experience with **PVC, CPVC, GI, HDPE, and copper piping systems**.
- Familiarity with **plumbing tools and testing equipment**.
- **Soft Skills**:

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
