Civil Inspector

**Position**: Civil Inspector

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Quality Control**:

- Validate all inspections and tests per the project’s ITP (Inspection & Test Plan).
- Check and verify all protocols submitted by contractors.
- Witness and validate mix trials conducted by contractors (in-house and external labs).
- Ensure all project work adheres to the approved FQP (Field Quality Plan).
- Conduct periodic checks of incoming construction materials against technical specifications/MTC, and approve materials via IMIR (Incoming Material Inspection Report).

**2. Site Inspection**:

- Verify and certify construction method statements submitted by contractors.
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure quality compliance with construction drawings, methodologies, and relevant standards.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections of reinforcement and shuttering works as part of pre-pour checks.
- Inspect and certify fabricated items (e.g., welded insert plates) before use.
- Perform pre-pour final checks on reinforcement, dimensional tolerances, and embedments.
- Conduct post-pour inspections to verify structural conformity.
- Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for any deviations or defects.
- Perform physical checks of completed structures before handing them over to subsequent agencies, raising punch points if needed.

**3. Documentation**:

- Collect and maintain all pour cards, protocols, test reports, MTCs, NCRs, and closure reports.
- Track and document RMC production.
- Report deviations in ITP/FQP, construction methodology, or technical specifications to the EIC.
- Submit monthly presentations to the EIC, detailing RMC production, tests conducted, non-conformities, good practices, and areas of improvement.

**Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in IS/ASTM standards and construction methodologies.
- Expertise in quality assurance for large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify and rectify non-conformities effectively.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- ESI, PF, and TDS as per Government of India regulations.
- **Leave Policy**:

- 8 full-paid personal leave days annually.
- 4 sick leave days annually (half-pay).
- **Insurance**: WC-Group Insurance (post-submission of PCC).
- **Travel Allowance**: Minimum TA as per timesheet approval for commutes within 5-10 km of the inspection site.
- **Performance Allowance**: Based on project team feedback, applicable biannually or triannually.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
