**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately post payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers into the billing system.
- Review and reconcile explanation of benefits (EOBs), remittance advices, and other payment documentation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between payments received and billed amounts.
- Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims and ensure proper reimbursement.
- Research and resolve payment posting issues, including denials and rejections.
- Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties regarding payment-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and payer policies related to payment posting.
- Assist with other billing and revenue cycle tasks as needed.

**Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
- Prior experience in medical billing and payment posting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret payment documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and compliance requirements.
