Supervisor - Automotive Industry

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Management**:

- Oversee and manage the GRN process for incoming materials.
- Ensure accurate verification, documentation, and storage of received goods.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in delivery, quality, or quantity of materials.
- Maintain proper records and timely updates in the system to reflect stock positions.
- **Logistics Management**:

- Supervise the overall logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of materials and finished products.
- Coordinate with the procurement and production departments for timely material availability.
- Optimize transportation and logistics costs while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate transportation rates as needed.
- **Despatch & Distribution**:

- Lead the despatch operations ensuring timely delivery of finished goods to customers.
- Ensure that proper documentation, such as invoices, challans, and delivery notes, are prepared and sent with consignments.
- Supervise the packaging, loading, and unloading operations to minimize damage and ensure safety.
- Manage stock movement between warehouses, production units, and customers.
- **Inventory Control & Warehouse Management**:

- Monitor and control stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Implement and manage inventory management systems to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure the safe and organized storage of materials, adhering to safety protocols.
- **Vendor Coordination**:

- Work closely with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve supply issues, and manage lead times.
- Ensure proper vendor management, including follow-ups and building long-term relationships.
- **Team Supervision & Leadership**:

- Supervise a team of logistics, warehouse, and despatch staff, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Monitor performance and ensure that the team adheres to company policies and safety standards.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material receipts, logistics performance, and despatch status.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics, despatch, and GRN processes.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless coordination in supply chain operations.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automotive logistics, despatch, and GRN management.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, warehouse management, and inventory control.
- Proven experience in handling despatch and transport management, with the ability to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems for material management and inventory tracking.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

**Location**: Bagalur, Bangalore
**Compensation**: Competitive, based on experience.
