Job Description:
Designation: QC Chemist

Experience : 5 to 10 years

Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry)

Place: Umraya, Baroda

Key accountability:

- Responsible for Quality testing of Raw materials and In-process samples, Packaging material & Timely feedback to concern department
- Various titrations like Nitrite, Coupling Value, Acid-base, Potentiometric titration, complexometric titrations
- Gravimetric, Wet analysis
- Testing of packaging materials
- Preparation and standardization of solutions needed for analysis.
- Maintenance and organization of master and transaction data of raw materials and Packaging material in the SAP
- Instrument operation, Maintenance & calibration on time
- Develop analytical methods and SOP
- Documentation of all quality data as per ISO:9001:2015
- Follow good laboratory practices
- Preparation of reports for supplier’s performance
- Assist for laboratory administrative work

Education/ Experiences:

- B.Sc / M.sc in Chemistry with 5 to 10 years of experience in quality control lab; preferably in dyes raw material testing lad and packaging material testing

Know-how/skills:

- Good command over English, Gujarati/Hindi [Read, write, listen, speak] is essential requirement
- Good command over computer (Microsoft word, excel & power point)
- SAP, LIMS
