Production Chemist

. Production Oversight: o Supervise daily production activities to ensure operations are in line with GMP and other regulatory requirements. o Monitor the production process, ensuring the correct procedures are followed for mixing, compounding, and blending chemicals. o Participate in the development and scaling up of new products from pilot to full-scale production. o Ensure all production activities are compliant with cGMP, SOPs, and relevant regulatory requirements. o Prepare and maintain detailed production records, including batch manufacturing records (BMR), logbooks, and equipment cleaning records. o Assist in the preparation of regulatory audits and inspections. o Provide guidance and training to production operators and junior staff. o Assist in the management of manpower to ensure optimal productivity. o Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure that products meet required specifications. o Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to production batches, in-process controls, and any deviations. o Adhere to and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. o Manage hazardous chemicals safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal in compliance with environmental regulations

Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, B. Pharma - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production role within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industry. - Technical Skills: o Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes. o Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements. o Proficiency in using production management software and tools
