An ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products, components, and processes meet specific quality standards and requirements. These responsibilities aim to ensure that products are consistently manufactured to high-quality standards, improving customer satisfaction and reducing defects or returns. Their duties can vary depending on the industry, but generally include the following:
**1. Inspection and Testing**
- **Perform inspections**: Carry out routine checks on products, materials, or components to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- **Conduct tests**: Use various testing equipment and tools to check the quality and performance of products.
- **Visual inspection**: Inspect the appearance of items to detect any defects or non-conformance with specifications.

**2. Documentation and Reporting**
- **Maintain records**: Document inspection results, test outcomes, and deviations from standards.
- **Prepare reports**: Create detailed reports on quality findings, including areas of improvement and defects.
- **Ensure compliance**: Check if processes and products comply with internal quality standards and external regulations.

**3. Compliance with Standards**
- **Adherence to standards**: Ensure that products and processes adhere to national and international quality standards, such as ISO, ASME, IATF or other industry-specific regulations.
- **Follow safety protocols**: Ensure that all inspections and tests comply with workplace safety standards and regulations.

**4. Process Improvement**
- **Identify defects**: Identify any defects or issues in the manufacturing process and provide suggestions for corrective action.
- **Collaborate with teams**: Work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective measures and improve overall quality.

**5. Calibration and Maintenance**
- **Tool calibration**: Regularly calibrate testing and inspection tools to ensure accurate measurements.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on inspection tools and equipment.

**6. Training and Guidance**
- **Provide guidance**: Assist and guide production workers and other team members in maintaining quality standards.
- **Training**: Conduct or participate in training programs to educate staff about quality control procedures.

**7. Final Inspection**
- **Final product inspection**: Ensure the final product is defect-free and meets all required specifications before being shipped or distributed.

**Qualification: Mandatory ITI Certification / Diploma in BE, BE. Mechanical/Automobile**

**Experience: Minimum 6 months in manufacturing industry**

**Req. Skills**:

- **Knowledge of Inspection Tools and Equipment**: Proficient in using calliper's, micrometre's, gauges, and other testing instruments for quality assessment.
- **Understanding of Blueprints and Technical Drawings**: Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and product specifications.
- **Calibration Skills**: Knowledge of calibrating measuring instruments to ensure they provide accurate results.
- **Testing Procedures**: Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or chemical testing procedures depending on the industry.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
