**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As an Architect, you will be an exemplary technical leader in his/her areas of practice. Bring deep experience and strategic insight spanning from Architecture, Design and Development leadership which are among the best in the industry.
This role is crucial to developing cutting edge enterprise-ready solutions for clients worldwide specially using emerging technologies. The role would involve working with project managers and SMEs in taking up challenging/complex projects to develop and execute complex solutions for IBM clients worldwide. He or she will prioritize building critical intellectual capital that may eventually be leveraged by the wider IBM audience through development of best-in-class reusable assets often using bleeding edge technologies on “First of a Kind” projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical thought leadership for enterprise scale technology transformation.
- Develop, lead, and oversee resiliency strategy across development, architecture, and Deployment.
- Lead efforts to establish multi-year plans and technical roadmaps to achieve the Infrastructure resiliency strategy.
- Collaborate closely with teams participating in strategic planning, facilitating cross-team solution reviews, and communicating strategy direction.
- Define and lead innovation and technology experiments in private, public and hybrid cloud at enterprise scale.
- Maintain an effective technical network across technical SMEs and architects for multiple service areas.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 13+ years of experience in IT and minimum of 5 years as technical architect operating at enterprise scale
- Hands-on experience in architecting and solutioning for public/private & Hybrid Cloud
- Hands-on experience on migration solution (from on-prem workloads to cloud involving DB, Applications, File Share, etc).
- Hands-on exposure in Architecting Cloud Native Services
- Ability to build scalable and cost-effective cloud solution for monitoring, identity and security, data storage and business continuity.
- Experienced on preparing and deploying infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation templates or Terraform scripts.
- Experienced on advanced security, authentication and single sign on across cloud and on premise.
- Good knowledge on costing and different cloud services and provide TCO/Pricing Calculations.
