- Use manual/semi-automatic/automatic solder paste stencil machine
- Load components into pick and place machine
- Reflow oven operations
- Routine light duty maintenance
- Start job run on machine
- Set up loader machine
- Also handling lead related material
- Set up MPM (screen printer)
- Set up CP6 and locate and identify if errors occur and alert SMT Technician
- Locate and start oven (Heller 1700)
- 1-year experience feeder set up preferred
- Basic computer and math knowledge
- Prior Assembly Experience and Soldering Skill may be required for this position
- It's important to consistently meet all productivity and deadline goals and ensure that the area is kept clean and free of hazards at all times, and machines should be prepared for the next job when possible to save time
- May monitor scrap rates and identify potential component waste and report to technician
- Uses either a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine
- Performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure product is built per customer specifications and industry standards
- Inspect soldered boards to detect substandard soldering
- Verify PCB identification, program name, conveyor width, solder paste, mistake proofing
- Troubleshoot various pieces of equipment
- Performs operation, setup, and product changeover
- Knowledgeable of manufacturing instructions
- Occasionally change feeders, splice reels, scan parts
- Understand Panapro for correct part identification
