**Position Overview**:
The Windrow Composting Operator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of windrow composting processes. This includes handling organic waste materials, operating and maintaining composting equipment, monitoring compost quality, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This position involves working in outdoor composting facilities, often in dusty, muddy, or wet conditions. Safety gear, including gloves, masks, and boots, must be worn as needed

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain compost windrows according to specifications.
- Turn windrows using loaders, or other equipment to maintain proper aeration.
- Monitor moisture, temperature, etc. levels in windrows and adjust as necessary.
- Operate machinery such as loaders, compost turners, and water tanks.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on composting equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
- Receive and process organic waste materials, including sorting and pre-treatment if required.
- Ensure proper mixing culture / deodorizer with material for optimal composting conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections of compost bays for signs of pests, odors, or irregularities.
- Maintain detailed logs of composting activities, including temperature, turning schedules, and material inputs.
- Prepare reports on compost quality and operational efficiency maturation bay wise.
- Adhere to all environmental and safety regulations related to composting operations.
- Manage leachate and ensure it does not contaminate the environment.
- Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or hazards to the manager.
- Coordinate with labor and supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist with training new operators on windrow composting processes and safety protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
