Garment Technologist

Innerwear ,Lingerie & Man Undergarments

A leading licensee and distribution business requires Garment Technologist to join their growing teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring production samples conform to the standard required for fit, make, raw materials, quality, sizing ,study fashion trends and give suggestion on fashional clothing specially in lingerie and man undergarments, quality assurance, quality checker, pattern setting, unit handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, update and complete production technical packs.
- Maintain and agree standard measurements and record and measure against spec for all styles
- Ensure all technical specs are clear and any measurement requests are consistent with the standard measurements.
- Measure all samples to ensure they conform to the size specifications.
- Flag any discrepancies in sizes prior to fit meetings and ensure the factory is informed where appropriate.
- Study fashion trends and design product sample according to that.
- Record all fit comments and relay to the factories ensuring amendments are accurately reflected in future samples or production.
- Maintain consistency in sewing rules and make standards and ensure factories understand the standards required to produce for the brand.
- Request, monitor and chase all samples.
- Ensure all garments are sealed ahead of the factories starting production in line with the critical path.
- Approvals to be given on fabric qualities, Lab dips, prints.
- Develop new design patterns for product range& prepare measurement charts
- Coordinate with team to create the garment that is patterned

The role requires:

- Expertise in Women’s Lingerie and Man undergarments with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
- Excellent fabric knowledge
- Dealing with approvals on fabric qualities, Lab dips, prints.
- Pattern Making certificate from Technical institute
- Course from Apparel Training& Design Centre
: B.Des. in Any Specialization

**Salary**: ₹9,330.82 - ₹40,000.00 per month
